You have 31 days from your date of hire to enroll in your Belk health and welfare benefits. Benefits are effective the date you make your elections. If you do not take action, you won’t have coverage. Your next opportunity to enroll in benefits will be during our annual Open Enrollment, held each year in the fall, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as a birth or a marriage.
